About the Founder​
As a founder Mat has almost 30 years experience and domain expertise in construction, property development, systems integration and project financials.
He has spent almost 4 years working on Buttress. He's passionate about making a difference and thinks there is a massive opportunity to help the construction industry be more productive and less chaotic

About the market and the product

The construction industry accounts for circa $14T annual turnover and surprisingly the majority is small businesses who have to put up with some very poor management and technology solutions. I want to change this and need your help. In Australia alone it's a $200B a year market.

This industry segment (small business) is a sleeping giant and consistency underserved by existing lazy short sighted encumbants, hustle bros and get rich quick coaches. It's a segment that is marginalised, forgotten, disrespected and bullied by government bodies looking for soft targets to blame. The industry is crying out for product and it's crying out for leadership. I'm in a mission to lift them up, back them up, empower them and change their lives.​
